BIOFUME Greenhouse experiment

On the right, we see student researchers and farmers using a makeshift apparatus to apply BIOFUMETM, diluted 5000-fold to make a 200 ppm emulsion that can be sprayed directly on soil. Muge (wearing black shirt) has removed her shoes in order to be more comfortable, something she couldn't do if she were handling conventional pesticides.

On the left, we see Muge and her colleague Selma covering the treated soil with plastic sheeting. This procedure is known as solarization, and prevents soil fumigants (including BIOFUME) from dissipating too rapidly from treated soil.
