The Essential Oil Distillery On the right: the exterior of the distillery, which is operated by both farmers and technicians. Herbs grown by an Akseki farming cooperative will be used for essential oil extraction. The soils in the Akseki region are rocky, erosion-prone and not very fertile, conditions which are poor for growing most crops, but not the herbs Naturale-Agro uses. These herbs can be found growing naturally throughout this region. Farming ensures a continuous, high-quality and constant supply of herbs while protecting natural plant populations from over-harvesting and preventing soil erosion. On the left: distillation apparatus within the factory, capable of distilling large quantities of pure, high-quality essential oils. We use gas chromatography and other biochemical techniques to guarantee the quality of the essential oils we distill and use in our products.
