Naturale-Agro: who we are
what we believe in |
Naturale-Agro is a small U.S. biotechnology company which researches, develops and markets natural agricultural products suitable for use by organic farmers and home gardeners. Our patented products are suitable for large as well as small-scale applications and have been rigorously tested under both greenhouse and field conditions. We at Naturale-Agro believe that one of the best things human beings can do to preserve our planet is to change the way we harvest resources from it, including food. Organic farming represents the most sustainable, least environmentally damaging means of food production, and we hope that more farmers, both in North America and overseas, will choose to grow organically.

We have developed a line of herbal, essential oil-based natural pesticides BIOFUMETM, BIOFUMETM970, BIOFUMETM975, and BIOBUGTM which can be used on plants to combat insects, nematodes, fungal and bacterial plant pathogens. The vapor phase of these products contains the pesticidal components, meaning these products make effective fumigants. BIOFUMETM in particular has been proven to be an effective alternative to the ozone-destroying soil fumigant methyl bromide in numerous field tests. These products are not registered as pesticides.

Organic Fertilizer and Plant Growth Promoter |
Over 10 years of studies have produced BIOHARVESTTM, an environmentally-friendly, completely organic fertilizer and plant growth promoting agent, containing a patented soy hydrolysate, plant-beneficial bacteria and other non-toxic organic ingredients. This product can be used as a seed treatment, or as an addition to seedling potting media or a soil drench after transplanting. |

Plant-Based Insect Attractant |
In collaboration with researchers in Turkey, ATTRACTINTM, a patented environmentally-friendly, non-toxic, plant-based attractant has been developed which effectively attracts fruit flies, including olive and orange fruit fly pests, but does not affect honeybees. US Patent no. 6,177,072. Date of patent: Jan 23, 2001. |

Over 15 years of studies resulted in production of ORGANOSOLTM, an environmentally-friendly, completely organic fertilizer and plant growth-promoter, containing compost extract, soy hydrolysate, plant extracts and other non-toxic organic ingredients to create full supplement to plants. This product contains all micro and macro elements in organic form to enhance plant development and can be used as seedling treatment, soil drench after transplanting using existing irrigation system or as a foliar spray. |
